At the risk of sounding like

my mother*shudder*:

Teenagers(mine anyways,hopefully yours
does not) suck.

Oh sure,he seems fine on the surface
but that is not the case at all underneath.
Underneath..he's..well I can't say. It's not
nice.

At this moment I am struggling, reeeeeeaally
struggling to maintain my composure. I'm
trying hard to do/say all the right things.
NO wait, what I'm actually trying to do is
not say or do ANYTHING at all, because
what I feel like saying and doing are BAD.
So far I am succeeding but I'm not sure how
long that is going to last. I may snap. You
will all visit me in the jail/psych ward, won't
you?

I think today I'm going to work on keeping
my mouth shut and my body and mind busy.
May be that will allow me to calm down a bit
Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!

Well, that would depend upon which one you were dragged in a straight jacket to. If it's the one in PoCo I can't. ( ever since my firebug stint, they are a little leery of allowing me on the premises...cowards! )

Hey, I have one child,a son. He was once a smart mouth, know-it-all too. He was also the worlds best snearer. The rotter.

He's a kind, gentle, thoughtful human now. Which is what normally happens to teenage boys when they grow up.

Relax, recognize that "this too shall pass".

And when he really reeeeaaaalllly pisses you off...trip him when he walks by. That's always good for a laugh!

Ok,I will try and remember what you've said,I'll say it to myself
like a mantra. May be that'll help.

Ok....take a deep breath. Teens kind of walk around without any brain waves....don't worry, they hit 20 and voila....they find their brain back. I swear they just turn into horrible walking, brainless kids...on over drive with hormones, zits and nasty mouths.
But I love my grown sons....they are totally awesome...they make me proud again :)

Nobody loves a teenager but another teenager. They are like aliens from an evil planet. :-D
