a storm coming in from the Pacific. It`s
a good thing then that I got the gardening
donejust now. I didn`t get anything major
done but was able to dig up some compost
and plant some sweet pansies that my man
surprised me with yesterday.
Ciari, spent her time checking the rocks
for bugs...

very pretty, Lael! You're ahead of me this year with the planting. I usually do it Mothers Day weekend .. but probably won't get to it this weekend either.
sweetpeas are planted at the house, but thats all so far...
Very pretty!!
We can't plant pretty flowers until the May long weekend, as we always get a big dump of snow and there is still chance of frost. In theory I could get some new blubs, but my day lilies are pushing through the dirt, so it looks green enough for now :)
Apparently pansies like the cold, that's the only reason I've got them out. We're like you Cori, unable to plant til the may long weekend. Oooh day lilies!
I should get mine back in the ground, eeek!
We're kinda stuck with what we can and can't do,huh bernie? I think it's worse for you guys tho/ I like sweet peas too. I should start some this year..
It's funny Rach,I was thinking about what you were going to be planting this year for some reason, lol. I always like what you choose:)
ya, theres plenty you COULD plant now, cold wise...veggie wise, but the garden is still too muddy to till. the snow/frost isnt the problem this time up yr for flower boxes and stuff, its the goddamn hail, lol
LOL,exactly! We had a couple of big bursts last night
Lael....love your new Blog look. I'm sure it's been changed a while ago already but for some reason I hadn't notice...duh!
Love your pansies. Funny, we were talking about planters too, but I'll wait another week or two.
