Come to think of it,Saturday was
lazy too!
I have some sort of ick. I woke up
yesterday morning,dizzy and nausous.
I walked like I'd been enjoying too
many drinky poos. Not that there is
anything wrong with that,but I don't
often find myself drunk at 7:30am!
That trend continued all day but
I feel slightly better today so that's
good. Today I'm able to sit upright..
read..eat..those kinds of things.
I canceled my contribution for lunch
in the park AND my attendence to
the bi-weekly meeting on Monday,
so hopefully I'll be well enough for
Miss Thing's last gymnastics class.
With all this resting,I should be,geesh!
Last night I was treated to a dream in
which my pal Rach starred. Dur and I
had rented a house in her city and were
there picking up the keys to our new place.
I texted Rach and she came over to poke
around the place with me. The house was
only a year old and gorgeous. Funny, how
in dreams you get everything you want, hee!
It ended with the two of us saying goodbye
all excited and giggling about the future.
I love postive dreams like that!
It sure beats waking up at 2am in the middle
of an anxiety attack worried about leaving
your 18 year old son behind when you move, heh
I had that experience the other night too! No,no
I wasn't planning on moving without telling
him! I'm planning on moving and leaving him
here on his own,to start his life as an adult.
All good life altering stuff:) My brain is just
trying to catch up!
I'm back on the healthy eating wagon. According
to our doctor,Jig's problems are because she
has a weaker immune system and because she
doesn't eat enough. I'd always thought it was
best to not fight with your kids about food.
Apparently I took that too far,ha. ANYway,
I have a renewed interest in creating healthy
balanced meals for all of us. I'm blaming my
current state on my trip to Tofino, that's when
it all went to delicious hell...Mmm,and I regret
none of it!
Speaking of illness and immune systems:
Our province will soon be getting the
H1N1 vaccines and our clinic is holding
immunization dates for everyone who
wants one. I'm really on the fence about
that! I mean,I don't want to get sick..but
also..we don't know much about these
vaccines..and there are so many different
opinions/ideas/facts out there..I haven't
decided yet but I'd better get to it,huh?
What I need to get onto now is some bra
washing. I am now the proud(and lifted)
owner of some pretty fancy bras but they
need to be handwashed constantly. Hey,
I guess I should be happy they don't need
ironing. I used to have to iron my old
waitress uniform and that sucked.I'm
not a good ironer. This was especially
apparent the time I left the iron on too
long and melted a big hole in the front.
Heheheh,good thing my ruffled apron
covered THAT mess up;)

woohoo .. I love that I was in your dream! Maybe it's more of a prediction then a dream! ;)
The other night I dreamt I was in Starbucks, in line just about to order my first ever ginger cookie from there. The guy ahead of me ordered the last one, and the guy behind the counter was too damn cute for me to even make a fuss. I always try to analyze dreams .. so wonder if maybe I'm a sugar addicted caffeine freak! lol
Hope you feel better. I am still recovery from having influenza. :{
I would recommend a flu shot of any kind. They are usually safer than getting the actual flu, especially if your little one has a weaker immune system. You could carry the germ, not get it, but pass it on.
That is one thing I have never understood. Kids who won't eat. I was a picky eater, but when it was something I liked... I chowed down. :)
preggers?
rofl @ bernie... :)
I love wacky dreams. I have an awful cold, so have been taking some Vicks Nyquil, and my dreams have been vibrantly trippy. I'll almost be sad when I am healthy!
Really do your research about the flu vaccine, and do what is right for your family. We don't get the usual one, but I'm on the fence about this H1N1, too. Alberta won't have it available to the masses for another month, so I should get researching, too :)
i know (on the internet) 5 chicks across the states that has kids that all has got the piggie flu, they get it, it passes, life goes on.
fwiw.
I hope you're feeling better today!
I'm freaking out right now about my oldest getting ready for college. It's so hard as they get older and get ready to start their own life, isn't it?
Uh oh. Hope you are on the mend.
So far so good Ded,thanks!
oooh Cheryl,it really,really is!
I am stressing! But once we're done
with this,we'll know what to expect with the other ones:)
That;s kinda what I'm hearing too Bernie..well actually I'm hearing both! But I'm an optimist,so I'm chosing to believe,it'll be easy for us too.
LOL Cori! Try Melatonin, they give good dreams too;p
I was the SAME way GOA! As is apparent by the size of my ass,lol
LOL rach! Noo,you?? never! Mmm sugar and caffiene! ;p
